I love the game of basketball, and am doing everything possible to make sure my goal of playing in college becomes a reality. However, I understand that I need to get a quality education, and that is also extremely important to me. I look to excel both on the court and in the classroom. Throughout high school career I have had to fight through several injuries with the most significant being an ACL tear in my right knee. After the knee injury, I became a highly motivated individual, and worked even harder than I had been before the injury. As a result, I earned a starting spot on a highly competitive basketball team and maintained that spot all season. My main strength as a player would include three-point shooting, attacking the basket, and defense. My goal is to become a better ball handler so that I can become a more versatile player. I take pride in being a strong team and individual defensive player. I work hard at practice and make sure to bring energy and enthusiasm as a team leader.
Academically, my intended major is political science. After receiving an undergraduate degree, I plan on attending law school to become an attorney. I am not completely sure at this time about what kind of an attorney I want to be. This semester I have an internship with the Kosciusko County Superior Court 3 judge, and last semester was spent at a local law firm; both of which have taught me many things and helped to lead me towards a clearer vision for my future.
