Evan Henry '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3" senior to be combo guard from Columbus, IN. I have been a varsity starter since my Freshman year at Columbus North HS, a Class 4A Conference Indiana school. I finished my junior year being named to the All State Team Honorable Mention, All Conference First Team, All Area Team; was selected for the third year in a row as one of  Indiana's Top 100 Underclassmen by the IBCA Committee and received the Most Valuable Player award given out by my Columbus North team and during a Richmond Invitational Tournament. We finished with the best season since 1996 going 23-2 and winning a sectional championship while maintaining a consistent Top 10 ranking. I also have played at a highly competitive level in AAU, leading my team in scoring each year since beginning in the 4th grade.

I have a 4.2 GPA and have consistently made the Gold Honor Roll.  My goals are to attend a college that will challenge me both on and off the court.

My determination to succeed athletically and academically, court awareness, poise under any circumstance and basketball knowledge are what I feel I can bring to your team. Possessing these strengths, along with a strong desire to contribute early in your college basketball program would be an ideal situation for me.
