My goal after high school is to continue to play basketball at the Division 1 level while attaining a Mechanical Engineering degree. In addition to attending Boonville High School for my core classes (i.e., chemistry, calculus...), I will also be attending the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center for pre-engineering classes my junior and senior years which will prepare me for my desired major in college (Mechanical Engineering). I am driven to succeed not only on the court, but off the court as well. College coaches will not have to spend time monitoring my academic success or worry if I will make the grade to maintain eligibility. I am self-motivated to maintain a high GPA in college like I currently do in high school (I currently carry a 4.0 GPA taking honors classes). I thrive in the area of gamesmanship and making quality decisions. I am looking for a coach and team that will push me and my athleticism so that I can combine my knowledge of the game with the physical aspect to make the most well-rounded basketball player that I can be. I come from a tight-knit Christian family that has grounded me with good morals and a good work ethic. At our house, we all have chores and responsibilities, whether that be cooking, cleaning, or taking care of the animals on our "funny farm". I look forward to being a part of another family, my basketball family away from home, where I can contribute my strengths to help them succeed as well.
