I have been playing competitive basketball ever since the age of eight. I have tried out every other sport imaginable including basketball. I played basketball, track and field, and also football all the way up to my freshman year in high school. When freshman year came around, I realized that I wanted my future to incorporate basketball in one way or another. I then eliminated all other sports besides basketball to focus more on perfecting my game. I have been a gym rat ever since. I can remember waking up early some days before I went to school and going out in the driveway and shooting free throws or working on my post moves. I have played on several AAU teams including: Lafayette Basketball Academy (LBA), Indiana Ice Select, and my current team or most recent team, Indiana Legacy. I love playing the game year round and there is essentially no off-season for me. I fit well into any type of offense but I am most familiar with the Virginia offense or motion. My freshman and sophomore year of high school I simply refused to do my homework and therefore my grades suffered. I didn't realize at the time how big of an impact that would make later on. I have since matured tremendously as a student, man, and athlete. My junior year, I maintained a 3.1 GPA both semesters. This year, my senior year, I am currently a 3.4 grade average student. I have shown that I am willing to handle the workload that college brings along with it. My future goals are to find a college program that can provide for me as a student and as an athlete. I plan on majoring in sports management and soon after college, becoming a basketball coach/recruiter.
