Beau Brekke '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello. I am a three sport athlete and dedicated student. This year in  Basketball I  was voted Second Team All Conference Shooting Guard.  In Football I was  voted First Team All Conference Receiver and Safety, Second Team All State Safety, and Second Team All Conference Returner. I enjoy both sports similarly and play both well.  I am a versatile player and enjoy playing different positions. I am also a Kicker. During practice this Spring I am hitting 50 yard field goals.  Currently I have a 4.0 GPA and I am 5' 10" and weigh 162 lbs.  I am also a member of the Salmon Chapter of the National Honor Society. 

I am a hard worker, a good leader and a good team player. I train very hard and have fun playing at a high level. I maintain a high level of health and fitness year round.  I was a Team Captain in both Basketball and Football.  I am most interested in a college or university  that offers a high quality education and positive team atmosphere. My goal is to play Basketball or Football at the collegiate level for a Coach and team that work hard, perform well and inspire others while having a good time doing it.

I am interested in exploring all possibilities at different types of schools. My goals as a collegiate athlete are to make a positive  impact on a team and to achieve a good education.  I like the outdoors, have hunted Elk and Deer as soon as I could legally and enjoy a variety of sports. I am undecided regarding what I would like to major in but have an interest in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training.
