Just returned from a 2 year Mormon mission.
I take my responsibilities as a Student Athletic very seriously. While I eat, drink and breathe basketball 24/7 I see the bigger picture of being a good student athlete. My GPA is 3.43 and I plan on bumping that up a couple of points during my Senior year. I played a key role on the Varsity team as only a Sophomore. My Junior year led the team in Points, Rebounds, Blocks and was second in Steals and Assists. I was named to the All-High Country Conference 2nd team and also East Idaho All-Area 2nd team.
Equally or maybe more importantly I have received the following academic recognition as a student/athlete: Hope of America recipient, High Country Conference All Academic Award 2013, High Country Conference All Academic Award 2014, distinguished team Scholastic Award 2013/14. I am the team captain for our High School team and I lead by example through hard work, dedication and commitment. I was chosen, from among the Student Body, by the Administration and teachers, as a member of the Student Council for next year. The purpose of that council will be to serve and lift other students in school. As an Eagle Scout I have always enjoyed serving in my community and school. My goal is to play college basketball, graduate from college, receive a doctorate degree in medicine, and to become a medical doctor.
If I am awarded a scholarship position on a college basketball team I will make a positive contribution to the team, community and overall success of the College/University.
