  • Carter Ingersoll a 6'5 205 lb 2018 prospect of Etowah (GA), is a nice player with division 1 potential.Carter showed great size for position causing terrific matchup problems in addition to possessing length that is a reliable asset to individual and team defense. The prospect showed great handle, and is able to put great pressure on the defense. Carter really sees the floor at a high level in terms of passing the ball. We would like to see continued work passing with either hand and creating misdirection to the defense. The Player is a very effective and versatile shot maker and has great looking form and accuracy. We recommend making at least 500 game speed shots a day in a variety of circumstances from all three levels (floaters, mid range, three both off the screens and off the bounce.Carter does a fantastic job of only shooting shots that are in space and in rhythm. Shot selection proved to be a direct extension of the coach. The prospect can consistently finish at the basket effectively using either hand both through great contact and against size. The prospect defends the ball and help side very effectively with a high level of pride and intensity proving to be a tremendous asset defensively. The talent is incredibly strong for age/size and should translate well to the highest levels of the gameand has an excellent frame.Carter has a great motor, changes ends of the floor well translating to collegeand is incredibly tough that all levels of coaches will covet. T he talented player has very good athletic ability for size and age and would like to see continued development in speed/agility and vertical development. Jump rope drills are a great full body conditioning drill we highly recommend if not ready for a rigorous weight-training program. Carter understands the nuances of the game and has a high basketball IQ that allows playing above their current level. Defensively we would like to see continued improvement both on and off the ball in addition to always seeing ball and man. We would emphasize staying lower on both ends of the court. In addition, we would like you to continue learning how to play without the ball as most players only have the ball a max of 10% of the game (even less if you have ball stoppers on your team). We are excited to monitor this prospect's development in the future and would like to see continued development in all areas we rated as needing improvement to fully maximize potential. ScoutsFocus and our college coach ing staff believes Carter has division 1 potential with continued hard work and development both in the classroom and on the hardwood. Can play the 3; 4. AAU Team: Georgia Phoenix. Attended ScoutsFocus Elite 80 ATLANTA, GA Camp on March 4-5, 2017.

Very Big and versatile. Finishes through contact! Have a good midrange jump shot! Plays with a passion, and good rebounder and hard worker. WEAKNESS: He needs to get tougher with the basketball. Improve conditioning and sprint harder to get down court. When he gets a rebound he must Protect the ball!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
