William Kovi Tate '17 Recruiting Profile

I want to take my talents to the next level. My GPA is a 3.7. I work to perfect my talents everyday. My advantage is my jumping ability. I average double digits rebounds every game. I am a good at slashing to the basket. My long range shot can be improved.

My name is William Kovi Tate and I'm a 2017, 6'6" /215 lbs forward at Henry County High School in McDonough, GA. I am looking to represent an institution with a reputation for excellence in academics and athletics.  I believe your program and institution provides this environment.

I played travel ball this past summer with Atlanta All Stars. As a sophomore, I was named to the All-Regional Honorable Mention. Top 40 at Future 150 Camp (15') and Top Performer at Hoopseen Spring Preview (16').

Currently, I have a 3.85 GPA and rank 22 of 222 in my graduation class. I'm the Vice President of Marketing for DECA, Vice President of FBLA and a member of the Beta Club.

During the summer of 2016', my travel team (Atlanta All Stars) competed in 6 Showcase tournament in the Southeast region, finishing 1st and 3 of those and place 2nd in one other. My traveling team of 8 players, of which 4 players are either playing or have signed with D1 schools. I lead the team in rebounds while averaging 12 points on a roster loaded with scorers. 

I will be honored to meet with coaches, to evaluate if my skills would be a fit in your program.

I've dedicated the last 5 years improving all aspects of my game.  I'm a tenacious rebounder every game, who runs the court on every play and plays with a high motor. 

My high school is currently rank #2 in 4A for the state of Georgia.  I’ve attaching my fall High School schedule and would appreciate your consideration to see me in action.
