Jalen Archie-Davis '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jalen Archie-Davis. I live in Johns Creek, GA but I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I love the game of basketball and I have been playing since I was 4 years old.  I am currently at Senior attending Northview High School.  I have had the opportunity to play on Varsity since I was a freshman and was previously invited to the Addidas Jr. Phenom Camp as well as I was in the Top 50 at the Pangos All-South camp.

As a Point Guard, I feel that I will be able to demonstrate good leadership on and off the court.  I am a very quick with the ball, strong left and right and a hard worker that believes in giving the extra effort to achieve the most I can. One thing that I pride myself on is being able to manage the flow of the game and getting all of my teammates in the right position.

I also believe that academics is very important in being successful in life. I take my academics very seriously and I realize that it comes before athletics. I would like to continue to play basketball in college and I am looking for a college that has good academics as well as athletics. Ideally, I would like to attend a school that offers a strong business program as ultimately I would like to start my own business. Athletically, I would like to have an environment where I would make a contribution to the team. Financial assistance will be very important to me in the process. I am open to various geographic locations for school. It is important to me that the college I attend takes their academics very seriously. Also I would like to play in a strong basketball program. I would like to be in a program where I can learn a lot and reach my top potential in academics and athletics.
