2014 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I grew up loving to play sports. Any ball I could get my hands on I played it from basketball to baseball to football. I loved being around the fields and gyms every weekend even if it was just watching the games. I’ve been playing basketball since I was seven and it’s the sport I’ve always liked playing the best. I have a great knowledge for the game and feel I am a balanced player both offensively and defensively. I am a very coachable player and will do everything that is asked of me to not only make myself better, but to make the team better as well.
In the classroom I have a high GPA and was always taught that grades come before sports. I work hard both on the court and in the classroom and do everything to the best of my ability. Also I feel that it is important to be a part of my community. I coach an Upward basketball team and from time to time help out in a Miracle League program.
I would like to go to a school that will not only make me a better basketball player, but a better student, and a better person.
