Personal Statement

I defy stereotypes,  I do it everyday. My passion and my dream is to play college basketball.  I found my passion for the game after a middle school tryout. I knew I wanted not just to make the team but to be the very best player I could be.  In 7th grade I began training every day.  I always stayed after and worked more on my game, getting up 500 shots everyday.  I overcame my obstacles by being smart and knowing how to read players. I could cut the passing lanes and anticipate that player's next move so I used what I had to become even better on defense.  Next, I worked on moves and developed ways to get around taller and quicker players.  By 8th grade I was on the high school JV team and soon on varsity.  But that was not the end, I worked even more and began training with professional basketball players and trainers. By my sophomore year I had not only made a high level travel basketball team Florida Elite, I was starting. I wasn't only starting, I was a key player averaging 22 points per game with a very high percentage 3 point shot , and a way to make opponents pay if they guarded me out there with crafty moves to the paint.

My typical week goes like this :  Monday training at ICan basketball academy from 4-5, shooting from 5-6, core workout 6-6:30. Tuesday  ICan Basketball Academy 4-5, weight training at SRQ performance 5:15-7;00, Core 7:30-8:00, Wed weight training 5-6:30 and shooting 7-8:30. Thursday , Friday and Saturday repeat . Saturday afternoon pick up games at LA fitness for 3 hours then Sunday afternoon open gym for 2 hours and shooting.   So Know this I am ready to work and overcome, when you look at me try to actually See Me.

Recruit me and watch me exceed your expectations !  I am ready, let's Get it !
