What makes me a good candidate for their team: I'm very tenacious, I may not be the best basketball player, however I will do whatever it takes to become what I am needed to be. And to reach a level beyond what even I believe I'm capable of. Quitting is never an option even if your down by twenty in a game with 2 minutes to go, I believe it is better to not just keep playing, but play even harder. Because that may be your last game, and if not, your at least getting exercise.
What are my goals and aspirations: Academics are just as important, as I plan to have a career as well as play basketball. After I get my criminal justice degree, I plan to become a police officer/ state trooper and throughout time my goal is to join the S.W.A.T. police branch. I enjoy helping people and this is why I have chosen this career.
What makes me different from other recruits in my character, in my athletics and my academics: I'm a good leader and I understand to do so, you have to know how to be a good servant. I believe "it's better to work smarter rather than working harder". I believe no matter how good you are at anything, there's always room for improvement.
Thank you for your consideration,
Gavin McDaniel
