I have been playing basketball every year since the age of 5. Since my high school career, I have committed myself solely to playing basketball. While there have been other opportunities to play other sports that I might have excelled in, I committed myself to playing just basketball because it is my passion. I believe one of my best traits as a basketball player is being able to serve as a team leader. I feel as if I belong on the court to help make my teammates better by leading them in the right direction. I am able to motivate and have a positive influence on my teammates by using strong communication skills on and off the court. I also excel at being able to receive coaching without any problems.
