Andre Smith '18 Recruiting Profile

I am highly motivated to be the best person I can be, I understand that it is very important to treat others with respect. I believe education is important so I work diligently in the classroom to improve on my 3.2 GPA and my ACT and SAT scores. I've been playing basketball since I was five years old. Basketball has always been something I have excelled in and had a love for. I am very coachable, I am a team player, I am a leader on and off the floor, and I believe I have the talent to be a successful collegiate student athlete. Both of my parents are educators and they have always stressed the importance of a positive attitude, hard work, and dedication. If I am fortunate enough to receive a college scholarship I am prepared both on and off the court to be a positive influence on a program. If you would speak to any of my teachers they will tell you that I am a great student and person, if you speak to any of my coaches they will tell you I am talented, hard working, responsible, consistent, and a leader.
