Awards and Activities

  • AwardsMade Honor Roll my junior year 2013-14 All-Academic boys basketball team (3.3 GPA during the season) but they only used everyone's cumulative GPA. Really improving myself in the classroom, I hate to say it but I really didn't apply myself my first two years of high school and I regret that but I've been working very hard, my grades that I finished with at La Jolla Country Day School weren't too well. My grades since I've been at IMG have improved and I'm a lot more focused and my head is in the right way to succeed.
  • Activities(2014) Bandits (11u) Community Service San Diego, CA - Was the head assistant coach to my father for my brothers AAU team. - Lead them to a league championship victory. - Practiced for 1.5 hours a day twice a week, with one game every weekend. - Built relationships with the kids I coached as well as their parents. - I began to run most of the practices myself after getting to know the kids and parents. - Helped them become smarter and better players. (2010-2013) Gators Community Service San Diego, CA - At 14 years old I was the head coach for 12 year old players - Originally volunteered to coach because it was my Brothers team and the coach wasn't committed so the league director replaced him with myself. - I coached the team for the whole season. - Practiced for 2 hours twice a week, with games every weekend. - I brought a high level of intensity and helped the kids learn the difference between practice and training. - Built relationships with the kids I coached as well as their parents. (Some still stay in contact to this day) - Taught them the fundamentals. - Improved their record from the previous year before I took over. - Helped them become smarter players and just wanted them to enjoy the game to its fullest (2012 & 2014) La Jolla Country Day Youth Basketball Camp Community Service La Jolla, CA. - Coached Middle School and Elementary school kids. - Camp ran every day from 9AM- 3PM for a week. - Coached the summer after my freshman year and the summer after my junior year. - Helped develop the proper footwork, shooting and defensive techniques. - Worked the concession stand too. 2015 (IMG Academy) Community Service: Basketball: I volunteered and helped impaired people with Basketball. I rebounded for them, walked them through drills and even gave some of them a few pointers. Marathon: I ran a 5K marathon across our schools campus and finished in the top 20 out of everyone and I also felt great taking part in such an activity because all the proceeds went to charity. NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
