My name is Jonathan Stretesky and I attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, Class of 2016. During the 2016-17 academic year, in order for me focus entirely on becoming the best basketball player I can be, I have been attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL playing on the IMG Post Graduate national team. While attending IMG this year, I will have also completed 12 credit hours of study at the University of South Florida (first semester maintaining a 4.0 average) and will continue this semester in preparation for my upcoming college career . For as long as I can remember, I have played and loved the game of basketball. I have always been commited to a strong work ethic because I know that in order to improve, I must put in the time and effort. Every day I strive to improve different aspects of my game, and I will always have that demeanor. I am also very confident in my abilites and I believe that the hard work I have put in has helped me in achieving that confidence. I understand what it takes to play at the next level and I also realize the importance of academics, and as a student athlete, it would be an honor to go to a school where I can excel both on the court and in the classroom.
