School comes first, sports second. I plan to go to college where I may not only get a great education but also competitively play basketball. As I approach the 1000 point scorers club (approx 80 to go just 5 games into my senior year) I take greater pride in being recognized as my leagues premier defender. Scoring is gratifying but I would rather shut down our oppositions best scorer. Recently joined 1000 point club 8 games into my senior year season and currently lead the league in scoring at 20.3ppg with 3 games to play. Recieved the Ed Sadlon award (refs MVP) and the Leon Veretta award (coaches MVP). Top vote getter for all-league first team. Torrington Register Citizen MVP. All Bristol Press 1st Team. All-State CIAC.
Coach's Award as a Sophomore and Co-MVP Award as a Junior. I am very proud of being awarded the Superintendents Award not once, but twice having recieved that award in 8th grade and the start of my Senior year this year. I was also honored to have recently been awarded the DAR Good Citizenship Scholarship in December 2013. Also this year, I recieved the CIAC Scholar/Athete Scholarship for seniors.
