Personal Statement

Scholastically, I want to pursue a degree in Business for starters and possibly continue in Architecture at some point in my academic journey. I'm looking for a institution that will challenge me academically, allow me to grow as a student and best prepare me for my future after school.

Athletically, I play the shooting guard/small forward on the offensive end of the floor. On the defensive end our program runs a man to man defense,  as well as two different zones where I play both up top and the backline. Our offense is a open post motion, that allows me to play both inside and out. I am a two year starter on a team that advanced to the "Round of 16" in the 2014-15 post season as a junior. Aside from being named MVP of the team, I was also selected to the All- Conference team, All- Area team and was selected to play in the Southern Colorado 4A/5A All-Star game. In the off season, I played for the Pikes Peak United (regional traveling team) where I averaged 25 points 13 rebounds and 3 blocks per game in our 32 game schedule. Our overall record was 26-6, with 3 tournament titles. My coaches currently rely on me to set the example for my teammates in school, practice and algae time, because of my strong work ethic and committement to "team first". This is a role that I relish and do not take for granite! I am a first in the gym,  last out of the gym type of player, continuously striving to improve in all aspects of my game. I am looking for a solid program, that will allow me to continue my growth as a teammate/player.,

My disciplined upbringing, loyalty and dedication have molded me into rock-solid student and a reliable citizen that will never cause you concern or bring disrespect to the program that I am afforded the opportunity to represent next season.

Thanks for you time and I look forward hearing from you soon,

Noah J. Saunders

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
