It has always been my dream to play college basketball at the highest level of competition possible. As a little kid, I would work my hardest to make the best team. I would often switch clubs in order to find more competition and a better fit. With each club team that I joined, I would make the top team playing with the best players. This helped me grow as a leader and team player.
It was not until my freshman year high school that I did not make the top Varsity team. I started JV and played very little Varsity that year. That was when I realized how much I had to improve my game in order to play at the next level. Now, going into my sophomore year, I have worked harder than ever before to improve every aspect of my game. Because of great coaches that have helped me and through hard work and dedication, I have earned a starting Varsity spot on my high school team.
I am a very hard worker, leader (on and off the court) and a great teammate. I will never stop working as hard as I can. I love the defensive aspect of the game and I am good at it. I love to drive to the basket and finish through contact. I also have a very good midrange shot and am working on my perimeter game. Continuing to grow as a player is very important, as I will continue to strive and take my game to the next level.
