Will Wittman '16 Recruiting Profile

I come from a strong family background that has taught me to be responsible for my actions, work hard for my goals and stressed that the only one who can make me better is myself. I have worked hard in the classroom and dedicated myself to getting good grades. I feel that it is the most important part of my personal development. My goals are to attend a school that I can excel both academically and athletically. As a basketball player I have worked hard to improve all aspects of my game. Most of my career I have played the guard position but the team needed someone to step up and take on the role of a rebounder and post presence. I accepted that role and led the team and was second in the conference (7.3 per game) in rebounding and led the team and was second in the conference in blocks (1.6) this year. As a result I was chosen 2nd team all conference. I believe my biggest asset as a player is taking on the role the team needs most whether it be defense, rebounding or scoring.
