Austin Sanford '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin Joseph Sanford and i am a 6'6 197lb. forward with a 6'7 wingspan. I am a Faithful Christian and a dedicated athlete that intends on competing on the Division 1/2 level while putting JESUS CHRIST my Lord and Savior First. I have a twin brother who has the same aspirations and determination. I want to use basketball to obtain a college degree in civil engineering and to experience new things. I want to go to a somewhat big school so i can live the college experience of a student and a dominate athlete. I love big crowds and making big plays. I also enjoy music, snowboarding, hanging out with friends, MOST sports and traveling. I live in Compton California accompanied by my twin brother Alton Sanford, my younger brother Dyllan Sanford and my Single Mother Sharralyn Sanford. My mom is a cosmetologist and i don't know much of my father'd whereabouts. Basketball has alway been important too me. Playing since 4 years old i have been very passionate about it and play every game as if it was my last. I can't stand loosing or selfishness buy i welcome teamwork with open arms. I havn't had alot of opportunities for exposure to college scouts and that is why i am using this program. with all that i have been exposed too this is what i have accomplished: All Marine League 2nd team, 2009 Redondo Union High School Varsity Seahawk Classic All Tournament Team, 2008 Team Icemen Riverside Showcase Top 32, 2009 Team Icemen Riverside Showcase Top 16 , Los Angeles All-City Divisional Team - Division 2.
