Andrew Hollaway '17 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of basketball; I have ever since I began playing at 9 years old. I will do whatever it takes to make my dream of playing at the collegiate level a reality.  I am a scoring point guard who has a high basketball IQ.  I see the floor well, I challenge my defenders going to the basket, and I can connect from beyond the 3-point line. I have a quick first step and beat players by changing direction while attacking.  I play tenacious defense and give it my all every possession on both sides of the ball.

I am a vocal leader on the court with a team-first mentality and I have gained my teammates trust and respect on and off the court.  I am in my second year as Team Captain for my Varsity basketball team, the Little Rock Flames, having been chosen Captain last year as a Sophomore. I have a 3.9 GPA and I am taking concurrent courses at the college level in Mathematics and English.  I am looking to major in Accounting in college, but i am still exploring other majors and interests.
