Personal Statement

Basketball is in my bloodline. My father (USF, overseas), and grandfather (NC A&T, Golden State Warriors), have passed on their love of the game to me. At the tender age of two, when I discovered basketball, I have been focused on becoming talented enough to play ball. Finally at 7 years old, I knew that I desired to play at the collegiate level. I have strong ball handling skills, shoot well, and am extremely fast driving to the basket. Not only am I a team player, but I also lead by example. I view practice and the off-season as the time in which I will make the most improvements on my game. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players for any team I am a part of.

Off the court, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I hope to qualify for academic scholarships through my academic excellence. This summer I will work at a local YMCA, where I will mentor at risk kids by teaching life skills and basketball.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud. I have never been intimidated by the LEGACY of my ATTLES name. Instead I have embraced it, and always strived to be an outstanding Christian, son, brother, grandson, student, and basketball player (in that order).

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
