My name is Derek Sansbury and I am a 6'5 1/2 small forward/wing at Desert Vista High School. In addition, I play AAU club ball for the Arizona Magic 17 Elite in Phoenix. I am a true team player and excel at stretching the defense with my perimeter game and shooting beyond the arc. In addition, I play high school and club volleyball as well. I currently hold a 3.6 GPA including Honors Studies in math, chemistry and Spanish. I will graduate high school with 25 dual enrollment college credits.
I am pursuing an opportunity to play basketball at a DII, DIII or NAIA school which offers a degree in computer science or accounting. Though I am a native of Arizona, I am open to athletic opportunities anywhere in the U.S. I am an academic minded student who is looking for the right mix of athletics and academia.
