Personal Statement
My name is Chris Burley. I am a 6'2'' shooting guard from Rainbow City, AL. I have been playing school basketball since the 7th grade. I am now on the varisty team. I have a 3.8 GPA and a 24 ACT Score. I believe in hardwork on and off the court. I can bring a work hard attitude and fit into any role a coach would give me, no questions asked.
I am also a wide-receiver on the varsity football team for Southside High School. In football, as well as basketball, I bring the attitude of a team player. I am willing to do what it takes on and off the field to be the best I can be at whatever sport I am playing.
Unfortunately I have started this recruiting process late, but I still wish to pursue any & all avenues to play competitive athletics at a college where I can achieve a degree in Exercise Science and Wellness. Ideally, I am looking for colleges in the South/ Southeast Region, but open to all regions of the country.
I am also a wide-receiver on the varsity football team for Southside High School. In football, as well as basketball, I bring the attitude of a team player. I am willing to do what it takes on and off the field to be the best I can be at whatever sport I am playing.
