I started playing basketball in the 4th grade and each year I pushed myself to get better and better in all that I did on or off the court. I had great coaches that always pushed us to always do our best. I have learned that basketball is a sport that you have to continue to work on and that it is a team effort. My parents always encouraged me to practice every chance that I could and always do my best, I am thankful for such great parents.I would have to say the highlight of playing basketball was attending different camps and working with other kids my age and learning alot of skills that I wasn't taught while playing for my high school basketball team. Academics are very important to me and I always take every assignment that I am given seriously and do it to the best of my ability.I want to go onto college and major in sports management, or anything sports related. I have always had a passion for the game of basketball and I want to share that passion with my teammates and coaches.
