I am a multi sport athlete that doesn't just focus on sports but school as well. I am looking to get a good degree in order to better my life in the long run.  I believe that athletics can open up the options for scholarships that make my goals possible. I am a hard working, team leader that works year long to better not only myself, but the team. I have no "off season". When my coaches give me a task, I give 110%, not just on what they asked for, but on everything that needs to be done. I don't make excuses for myself and I try to exceed the expectations, not just meet them. I always try to make the right decision, regardless of what others are doing.  I realize that my future is more important than trying to fit in with the "cool" kids right now. I also realize that without academics, there is no athletics; my family stresses that my grades are what will stay with me even when my sporting career comes to an end.  I won't give up and I'll always be harder on myself than you could ever be.
