My name is Neil Dorsey, I am the incumbent starting Quarterback, in the class of 2017, at Battlefield High school located in Haymarket, VA. I am a solid 6'0" 185 pounds, the rest of my statistics and physical attributes can be found on my online profile.
I am a student-athlete who has received numerous academic accolades and scholastic honors with a current GPA of 3.76. Along with my off the field attributes, my mental and physical characteristics translate to on-field abilities and work ethic that will make me a good fit for any collegiate football program.
My goal is to have a career in Sports Medicine, with a specialization in Kinesiology, so I can work with athletes at the collegiate and professional levels who like myself, are dedicated to performing at their very best, both in and out of the classroom. While I'm in college, I intend to major in an exercise science/kinesiology program with a minor in sports marketing.
Along with my studies, my other goal is to be a college Quarterback and I have dedicated nearly all of my free time to achieving that goal. I feel as if I was born to play Quarterback; I portray the mental qualities, the athletically abilities and the academic standards to play at the next level and achieve high-success in the classroom.
As I enter the last season of my high school football career, I continue to strive to become the best at what I do. Through my hard-work ethic and by continuing to keep high standards for grades throughout my junior and senior years, I believe that success is coming. I am open to listening, learning, and understanding more about the game and what any college has to offer a hardworking student-athlete like myself.
I would like to thank everyone that took the time to read my profile and even more thanks to any school that's willing that take a chance on me and give me an opportunity to play. I can guarantee that I will be one of the best decisions that your football program will ever make.
