Personal Statement

Football is my passion.  My goal is to be the best football player I can be, and help my teams win championships in high school, college and maybe even the NFL.  I am built with a "high motor" and give maximum effort both on the field.  I am proud to be a Team Captain and leading my team in sacks and TFLs.

Last year I received the Player of the Year Award for my team (as a junior), and was selected for the All  State (DL) Team and First Team All Conference- Defense, and helped my team make it to the finals of the Virginia State Championship.

Off the field I am a dedicated A student with a 3.95 GPA, taking honors and AP classes.

I am a "team player" with the flexibility and aptitude to allow my coaches to get the most out of my skill sets.  Coaches have always told me that I have a "nose for the ball" and I just naturally go to where I need to be to make a play.  Simply put, I am a "football player" and I will do whatever my coaches need me to do to get us a win.

After my on-field career, I plan to have a career in either sports law or sports marketing.  I want to give back to the community and think that my career in football and legal/marketing will enable me to accomplish this goal.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
