My name is Mikel J. Gamble and I am a senior at Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia. My family has instilled in me morales and values that will carry me through life long after playing career. My parents taught me to always strive for excellence. With both of my parents being military, I have been taught to be respectful to everyone. I am constantly striving to improve myself off the field as well as on the field. I have a strong desire to play collegiate sports. I am a great team player with leadership qualities. My coaches often commend me on my work ethic. I am coachable player with good eye and hand coordination and working to improve my footwork and football IQ. I am unselfish, athletic and I have exceptional strength for my size with good speed and athletic ability. I want to be part of a program that will help me maximize my potential in the classroom as well as on the field.
