My dad has greatly influenced who I am and why I love the sport of football. When I was young, he coached either me or my brothers in football, baseball, basketball, and soccer. My parents were divorced when I was 2 years old and as I aged I had to deal with her not being around. She later passed away in a vehicle accident when I was 10. At the time, football was my escape from the sadness and reality of life. Now, that I am older, I use that tragedy as part of my motivation to make her happy as she is looking down on me. I am a student leader in my church youth group, and have the principles and ideas instilled in me to always be the best leader I can. I worked with a quarterback coach this past summer, and part of his training was to do service projects with a church he was affiliated with. My step mom is an RN, and I plan to have a career in the medical field as an anesthesiologist, if football doesn’t work out.
