I began playing football in 2004 when I was just five years old. I was always one of the bigger kids, so naturally I played offensive and defensive line and I have played there for my entire football career. Growing up playing youth football, I had the opportunity to work with many different and great coaches, such as my father and many others. They all taught me the fundamentals, the importance of hard work, the need of teamwork, and a love for the sport. I am grateful that these people had me play all offensive and defensive line positions as it has given me experience at different positions and provided me the opportunity to play wherever my coach has needed me. I carried this versatility through my very successful middle school career and now into my high school career. I started all ten games as a center for the freshman team, and played defense in about half of them. My sophomore season I started games at four of the five offensive line positions and played some at the fifth. Most recently I started games at three of the line positions as well as long snapper.
It is my aspiration and dream to follow in my father’s footsteps and play college sports. I have a 3.87 GPA, higher when weighted for AP, dual credit and Pre-AP level courses. With this, I am hoping to earn the Texas Academic All-State honors when I am eligible my senior season. I work hard and I am disciplined. I encourage my teammates every day during practice, games, and in the weight room. I and many others see myself as a leader on and off the field for the team. As a member of the football team, band, Little Elm Athletic Fellowship, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, along with community service through my church, I feel I am a well rounded person with many different experiences and interests.
