See Personal Statement below with highlights of my entire football career.
Strong Safety / QB / Athlete
My name is Immanuel Sutton and I live in Keller, Texas. I've led each drive with a tenacity to win during each play. I am able to do this with accurate passing while rushing with quickness & speed to dominate an opponents defensive scheme. At age 9 I played my first season of Select football. In 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 I was a member of championship teams each year while finishing undefeated seasons 3 of 5 years. I also led my middle school team as a QB to an undefeated season. I was honored to receive Offensive and Defensive Most Valuable Player of The Year during both years in middle school.
My Varsity career started during the spring game of my freshman year. Fossil Ridge Coaching Staff ask that I transition to Safety, my first year ever to play this position. I embraced the challenge with finishing my sophomore year with 37 tackles and my junior year with 96. The highlight of this season was against the Weatherford Kangaroos. It was a tie score at 14 with .26 seconds left in regulation. Weatherford had the ball inside of our 40 ydl and was driving for additional yards to kick a winning field goal. The Roos QB tried completing a pass on a quick slant and I intercepted the pass to force an overtime win.
A dream and short-term goal of mine is to further my education and play football at a D1 University. I will continue to stay diligent in the classroom and on the field, while staying focused on my long-term goals to earn a degree and be the best leader in all areas of my life to Glorify God.
