2014 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Brock Joyner and I am eager to be considered for a position on your team and to be a student at your school. I was the Right Guard and Long Snapper on the Varsity Football team at Clear Lake HS. I am also on the Varsity track team, throwing shot put and discus. I plan to work hard during the off-season and conditioning and intend to help my team make the playoffs this fall.
I plan to continue to work hard through the rest of my high school career and to finish strong with excellent academic and athletic achievements. My goal for college is to graduate with a degree in either athletic training/physical therapy or marine biology. I am a good candidate for your team because I am adaptable and coachable and I will ask for clarification when needed. I’m a quick learner. I’m strong and have good fundamentals although I’m constantly striving to do better.
I enjoy spending my free time in the weight room and getting ready for my college career. I also like hanging out with my family and my friends from my church youth group and attending camps and helping at volunteer opportunities when they arise.
