The years I spend in college, wherever that may be, will be a time allowing personal growth. Academically, I aspire to go in to the athletic training field, so I can one day become a high school or college football coach. On the college football field, I will be a resourceful, useful, and smart player. I am an uplifting person to my teammates and a positive influence to those around me. I have the ability to play O-Line, D-Line, and MLB, so I am able to play anywhere my coach sees fit. As a result of starting three years on my school's varsity football team (I am a captain this year), I have learned from experience how to change my style of play mid-game to accommodate my team's goals. As I grow in my college football career mentally and physically, I aspire to be a valuable player to my team, on and off the field. Because I maintain a very high GPA, I will always be eligible to play, so there is no concern over my academics as to whether or not I can play the next week. Finally, I will assuredly show great dignity and respect while walking through the halls, or playing of the field, because I know that my actions reflect my fellow players, coaches, and the university I will be attending.
