John-Anthony Person '17 Recruiting Profile

College has been my main goal ever since I started school. I'm never really sure about what I want to be, because I am interested in so many things. I've always had an interest in business , and managing a successful real estate company. However , if I don't pursue this then whatever path I choose to take I will work hard to be successful because I am willing to work for anything that I desire. This mindset translates to the football field. I understand that wins, championships, and my spot on the depth chart will not be given to me, I have to stay focused and power through any obstacle to reach those rewards. I never argue with my mentors whether it is in the classroom or the field because I take criticism as knowledge to make me better. I am a Christian athlete and i've always thought that it is great to believe in something bigger than myself because  it keeps me humble. I trust my future in God's hands and I know that he has a great plan for me, but nothing is just given. Football has been a learning experience as well as my passion and i'm eager to see what the future holds!
