I would like to thank all the Coaches and Programs that reached out to me over the past two years. Thank you for the camp invites, letters of interest, and hospitality on visits. It has been a childhood dream of mine to play at the next level, and that dream became a reality on Monday. I am extremely blessed to announce that I have committed to Austin College to continue my studies and football career.
Thank you to Coach Dawson, Coach Morgan, Coach Silva, Coach Ord, and Coach Pike for this unbelievable opportunity to compete at the NCAA Collegiate level. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and I will strive hard daily to represent my school and team, in a way that brings credit to Austin College. I will uphold the four principles of an AC Man.
Thank you to NCSA and Coach Mattox, for your guidance and assistance as we searched for the right school and program.
Thank you to my Coaches at Brewer and Western Hills High School, Coach Griffin, Coach Ladd, Coach Massey, Coach Jones, Coach Park, Coach Ingram, Coach Moilan, Coach Freeman, Coach Bennett, Coach Clark, Thank you for believing in me, and giving me a chance to compete, and a chance to earn my spot!
To my Teammates, it was an honor to share the field with you and serve this past season as a Captain. I love you all, you are my Brothers, Cougars for life. Football is a Team sport and all of you are part of the reason I am getting this opportunity.
Last but not least, thank you to my Parents. My Parents have always challenged me to be the best in all aspects of my life. They taught me that I could accomplish my dreams by giving a perfect effort, committing to the task, refusing to quit no matter how hard the climb, and being prayerful. They taught me that it was just as important in the classroom as it was on the field, and they demonstrated to me daily the meaning of unconditional love. I would not be who I am, with the opportunities ahead of me if not for you. I love you both very much!
