Gunnar Palacios '17 Recruiting Profile

Playing college football has always been my number one goal. I love the game because of the way it has changed my life. My sophomore year had the biggest impact on me as a student-athlete. I did not get the staring QB position that year, and I will never forget that feeling. That situation turned me into the man and football player I am today. Instead of being bitter, I committed myself to get better and give myself the opportunity's to achieve my goals in life. I work everyday to become the best football player I can be with the gifts and talents God has given me. I always stay hungry and never satisfied.

My junior year I earned the spot of the QB position. I threw for 2,818 passing yards with 31 TD passes and a completion rate of 65.3%. I also ran for 1,119 rushing yards with 12 rushing TD's. I was awarded Honorable Mention All-State, and First Team All District. My game improved my junior year, but also my grades improved in the classroom. I have a 3.0 GPA, and I am going to finish my senior year with the distinguished plan depoma. I am involved in Fellowship of Cristian Athletes, and I am apart of our student council. I have a drive in me that other players do not.  I am not afraid of failure, and nothing steps in the way of me achieving my goals. I am looking for a team that has the same drive and heart that I have on the field and in the classroom. I have the character, work ethic, leadership, and heart to impact your program immedialty. I know I have what it takes to play at next level on your football team!
