Christopher Dunn '17 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I received my first set of football pads at the age of four, my love for the game became unconditional.  I wanted to involve and improve myself more and more each day – a feeling I still carry today.  I always strive to become better, as I believe I can always improve.  This belief causes me not to let up and to work hard every day, to be the best student-athlete I can be.
My dreams, goals, and aspirations are based on my ultimate goal of applying the proper tools I have learned and competing at the collegiate, and hopefully professional, level of football.  My goals include succeeding academically in the classroom and attending a college that allows me to put my dream into effect and play football while receiving a college education.
I was honored to receive Offensive MVP player of the year for the 2012-2013 season.  I was chosen for this award by my peers and coaches.  During this season, I rushed for over 800 yards and scored ten touchdowns in the eight games we played.  I am grateful to my teammates and coaches who helped me be successful throughout the season.
I understand that being a student-athlete requires hard work on and off the field.  It is a privilege that is earned through leadership, a strong work ethic, a solid character, and the willingness to be dedicated in all that I do.  I am committed to giving 100% year round, by continuing to strive for excellence and personal growth.  During the off-season, I work with a personal trainer three times a week to improve my speed and strength.  I am also involved with Football University (FBU) program, and will be attending the invitation-only Top Gun Experience this July.  My summer football training also includes attending numerous collegiate and high school football camps.
I will continue to push for my ultimate goal and am committed to doing all that I can to achieve my dreams, goals, and aspirations.
