Michael Ewton '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Ewton. I am an athlete and varsity Kicker/Punter and Kick-off specialist for Allen High School (6A) located in Allen, Texas

I am a nationally ranked kicker at the top of my class. I am extremely accurate and consistent which I contribute to not only my training, but also to my mental toughness.  Although, my primary role has been as a kicker and kickoff specialist, I am also a strong punter in both American and Australian/ rugby style. In addition, I have a great talent in onside kicks using a unique technique I developed from the coaching of my high school Head Coach, Tom Westerberg.

For the past 3 years, I have successfully balanced kicking for my school football team and playing both D1 club and varsity high school soccer(2 yrs) as a starting striker and right wing.  Last year, I made the decision to focus solely on football so that I could devote the necessary time and training, year-round,  that is required to be a competitive kicking specialist. 

Equal to my passion for the game of football, is my commitment to achieving the goals I have set for my education. It is my desire to attend a top academic college or university where I can earn a B.A. degree in History. I plan to continue my studies in law school and obtain a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. It is my dream to become a Judge and follow in the footsteps of my grandfather.
