I work hard for everything I got, I have never been handed anything in life. I first started playing football in pewee and then I quit about fourth grade to focus on other sports. I joined back two years ago and been starting on varsity ever since. Football has taught me how to play through pain, give some more even when I thought I had no more to give, and that hard works pays off. I have had some obstacles in my career; last season in mid week practice of week 4 I got slammed on a slab of concrete and it caused me to have a mild concussion. I took it upon myself to fight through it and play that Friday and go through all those practices till it stopped giving me headaches. Then this summer in a passing league I strained my quad, my trainer said it was my choice to play and workout on it. So that is what i did, I injured my quad the week after dead period and it stopped bothering me after week 2. Football has really changed my life and I would not know where I would be if it was not for football being there to keep my life on a straight path. I can not thank my coaches enough for pushing me to my limits, it has made me a better football player and a better man.
