Football is a sport I really care about. I have been playing soccer, basketball and baseball all my life but football only for 4 years. Since playing, I have received numerous awards; Best Rusher and RB my first and second year and Offensive MVP, 1000 Yard Rusher and All District in last season.
Being apart of a rebuilding football program for the past 4 years with only 23 to 28 varsity athletes has allow me to play several positions on offense and defense. I have learned the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, sacrifice, overcoming obstacles, determination and perseverance. It has helped build my character, taught me how to have strong work-ethics, be coachable, trainable, to have respect, honesty and loyalty.
My passion for football comes from my dad, he was a huge football fan. We loved watching the games together. He did not want me to play football until I was 13. He was looking forward to seeing me play. Unfortunately, he never got a chance because he suddenly passed away of cancer 1 month before my 13th birthday. Every time that I practice and play, I always think of him. He motives me to do my best and try as hard as I can. Losing my dad has been very hard because he was my best friend. My mom and sister has been my rock. I want to be a provider for them. It is important that I stay focus and driven so that I can become a better student and a greater athlete.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me. A program that will enhance on my skills and abilities both athletically and academically. As a three sports athlete, it has given me the ability to go hard. I am willing to get faster, stronger, bigger without a doubt. I thrive for success and greatness. I know I am a true leader and have what it takes to make an impact on your team.
Thank you!
