Jahred Palmer '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jahred Palmer; I am a 5'11" 185lb outside linebacker, cornerback, tight end, and wide receiver that has started every game of my junior and senior years at a 3A high school, Lugoff-Elgin High. I pride myself on hard work, stamina, and endurance. My role on the team is to go both ways and play on most special teams. I am very strong and my speed is increasing. I currently run a 4.56 forty and 4.1 in the shuttle. I have a GPA of 3.0 and scored 860 on the August 2009 SAT and 18 on the October 2009 ACT. I took the SAT in January 2010 and will be taking the ACT in February 2010. I am looking for an institution where I can play football and possibly basketball while earning a degree in marketing. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation and one that would be affordable to my family. The perfect athletic situation would be one where I could come in and make an impact immediately. I believe that I am talented enough for the DI level but because of team exposure would be more suited for the DII schools. I have received positive comments during all camps. My current goals are to improve my GPA, study harder, and increase my SAT/ACT score. I have only been playing football for 5 years but have found it to be very enjoyable. I would love to continue playing at the collegiate level.
