My name is Shane Savage and I am a sophomore at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, SC. Currently, I am 6’0” and 270 pounds and I am the starting Defensive Tackle for my Junior Varsity football team and a reserved Defensive Tackle for the Varsity football team. As a freshman, I was moved to Varsity and was part of the South Carolina Division 4A High School Championship Football Team. From 8th grade to present, I have been a starter for my school teams.
When it comes to football, I will always work on the field and give as much time off of the field. I am committed to football. It drives me to succeed. Whenever I go to camps, I always strive to be the best defensive lineman in the group. At the NUC 2014 Combine, I was the 2014 Overall MVP. At the 2014 Football University Camp, I was selected to attend the Football University Top Gun Camp. At the FBU Top Gun Camp, I was 1 of 4 2017 Defensive Lineman MVP and invited to participate in the 2015 US Army National Combine.
What separates me from peers? My Choices. I chose not to smoke or drink. I chose to go to the gym on the weekends. I choose to respect my parents and coaches. I choose to be the best athlete and person I can.
My college goals are to attend a 4-year institution and major in Construction Science/Management.
