I have been playing football since I was six (6) years old for the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Program, then I played for the Cario Middle School JV Team. Since I first stepped on the field, I have dreamed of becoming a collegiate or even professional level player. I understand that playing on the collegiate level is an once in a lifetime opportunity that many high school players do not have, but I know that playing on that level could change my whole life.
I work on improving my skills on a daily basis as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger by participating in weightlifting training in the local gym and weightlifting and conditioning under the supervision of my team coaches. I am a team leader and I strive to be a valuable role player for my team mates by not only encouraging them to work harder, but also working with them as a team unit. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working player for my team and a valuable recruit for any coach.
In the classroom, I strive to work hard by maintaining a positive GPA of 3.647. Since my Freshman year Hanahan High, I have participated in the Josten's Renaissance Program which is the first and only national program created to recognize and reward the academic achievements of students. Its primary goals are to increase student performance and teacher recognition and to raise the level of community participation in schools. Renaissance is a customized program designed to revive education in schools by inciting fervor for academic accomplishment.
I am an active member of the Young People Missionary Division at my church where we are active in assisting the elderly with yard and home care as well as ground and property maintenance at my church. I am also a participant in the 2014-2015 Debutante and Master's Commission for the African Methodist Episcopal Church. In this program we learn how to be leaders in our community and church. The purpose of this program is to introduce young ladies and gentleman entering adulthood to church society and dedicate their lives to continued and greater service for Christ.
It is my passion and desire to attend a college where I can excel in both the classroom and football field. I am receptive to all available options and want to ultimately align myself with the right college and program that will push me to match the highest level of competition possible.
I hope to become a great role model to my peers on and off the football field and make my parents and grandparents proud of my accomplishments.
