Hi, my name is Zach Cloutier, I'm a 18 years old highschool Quarterback at the Cegep Montmorency, in laval, Quebec, Canada. I play in the RSEQ collegial division 1, the Highest caliber in the province of Quebec. We've been going for two years in a row to the province championship. In 2013, I was the starter and we finished in semi final.
I'm a strong arm pocket passer. My best tool is the strenght of my arm, I can throw up to 65-70 yards, and every throw I make is on a rope. There litteraly is no throw I cannot make on a canadian field. So, on an american field, that is smaller, I have an advantage.
I am also really good with my reads. I do not throw a lot of interceptions and have a good Football Knowledge. There also, it is Canadian Football knowledge, but I'm a quick learner that commited to pursue excellence.
in 2013-2014, I lead the league with the most touchdown passes (13) and the less interceptions (4). I also finished 2nd in the yards with 2026 yards in 9 games.
I was twice part of the Elites of Quebec, the Under-17 team of the region of Quebec. In 2013, I was the starter and the captain. We won the championship and finished finalists in 2012.
For the two past seasons I played at Cegep Montmorency. Last year I unfortunately had the playing time of less than three games. At my first start at the Cegeg level, I threw for 419 yards and 4 touchdowns against the #1 team at the time. I Still finished the season with 917 yards and 5 touchdowns.
I study Pure and Applied Sciences in Cegep Montmorency which is the hardest program in CEGEPs, but I maintain my GPA to 3.3, working to get it always higher.
My goal is to play at the NCAA division 1 level, FBS or FCS. I consider that I'm ready to play at this level because, I may be playing in Canada, but since i'm 16 years old, I've been playing with talented players that are up to 22 years old. Many players of my league manage to receive full scholarships from D1 FBS schools, even though they are not the most dominant players in the league. For this reason I am commited to give everything I have to expose myself on the NCAA D1 recruiting map and to get the attention of college coaches.
