Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
My plan is to continue playing football while attending college . Sports have always been an integrated part of my life, athletics and academics went hand in hand. I've always been expected to achieve balance and success in both. I am a National Honor Society member. This is a great motivator for me.
From the age of 5 I've played all sports. While I enjoyed all of them for different reasons, football is my passion. It tests and teaches us in so many ways and for me, its a 12 month commitment. In the off season I'm in the weight room and with a personal trainer. I run varsity track and play varsity tennis which helps me with my football conditioning.
As a freshman I had the opportunity to play at the varsity level. I quickly learned a lot about myself that year, how to work really hard, mentally and physically, needing to know my place as the only freshman on the varsity team. Most important was the personal growth learning to build new relationships and maintain existing ones within the broader football family. I ended the season as a starting wide receiver, kick and punt returner and alternate defensive back.
After my freshman season, it was clear that my athletic path was football.
