I am a 6'1" Outside Linebacker and Running Back from Gardiner Oregon. I have 3 years of varsity experience and one year serving as a two way starter and team captain at North Bend High School. This season I was awarded 1st team All-league Running Back as well as 2nd team All-league Linebacker. Currently I have a non-weighted GPA of 3.8 and I am enrolled in many AP classes.
I am looking for an institution that shares my sense of importance academically as well as athletically. Academically I am looking for a school that can provide me with the best health classes to help me along on my path to become a Physical Therapist. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I can make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, although I will absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities.
Athletics have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was old enough to be allowed, my mother enrolled me in dance, theatre and soccer were I gained many skills as well as a love for teamwork and family. This all grew into something much more after one season of football. When I first stepped out onto the football field, I knew this was my sport. When I put on my pads, I knew I wanted to continue playing this sport as long as possible. My dad is a fisherman and my mother and artist, neither went to college so there was never much discussion about playing sports in college. However, I love to learn, and I love to help people, so in 8th grade when I realized I could continue to play football while furthering my education, my mind was set. I am a very coachable athlete, in middle school my coaches moved me around to almost every position on the field, wherever I was needed. I am always looking to improve and am never content with where I am in my skill sets. I study hard, have a high GPA, and am an active member in multiple communities along the
Oregon Coast where I live. I am grateful I found something I am passionate about, and I will never give up on this passion. I wish to continue my education, as well as continue my football career to as long as I am able.
