My passion is to further my academic and athletic career by one day receiving a college scholarship. I'm highly focused on being the best I can be in whatever I do. Due to the multitude of experiences over my high school career I have developed patience as well as perseverance. These experiences have not only changed my outlook on life but I feel it has also changed the way in which I tackle the obstacles and situations I am faced with. My sports experiences has taught me to enjoy intense preparation and working with a team toward a common goal even when there is very little personal reward or recognition. Beginning this new season there is a sustained level of focus, commitment and dedication. Subsequently I feel I have become more objective, practical and apply myself with a considerable amount of maturity and focus, making me ideally suited to the challenges ahead. I have also learned to remain persistent amid disappointments. The intense preparation required to reach my personal goals, the need to work as a team toward a common goal, and the ability to perform all of these tasks without seeking personal glory are all lessons that I have learned during my high school career. These are lessons that I carry with me and plan to apply to my life and to my eventual career.
