My name is Michael Amadio and I am a sophomore at William A. Hough High School in Cornelius, NC. Hough is a large 4A public high school ten minutes north of Charlotte. For the last 2 years, we finished with one conference loss and made it to the 3rd round of the state playoffs.
As a sophomore I started on our JV team as inside linebacker and was the defensive play caller given my knowledge of the defense. Our team went 9-1 and won the conference. I am a very hard working, coachable player who understands the meaning of teamwork, selflessness and sacrifice.
My GPA is 4.5 and the majority of my classes are honors and AP. I did well on the PSAT and ACT PLAN and will take the SAT and ACT my junior year. I want to attend a highly academic university to earn an undergraduate degree in business followed by law school. My future success will be based on the results I get academically however I am very interested in playing football at the next level.
In addition to academic and athletic performance, I perform community service through a charity I started called Share A Sport. The purpose of my charity is to distribute sports equipment to children of lower income families. Please visit my website www.shareasport.com to learn more.
I have been training hard in the offseason and am looking forward to making an impact at the varsity level this fall.
Thank you for reviewing my information.
